By Baixo Minho

Learning at home: elearning solution?

When we discuss computers, most of times folks think about learning, also gaming, but learning is among the enormous purposes in their minds. Education is quite important for all the families.

What about kids? They're different. For children gaming is first and learning is... Not.

Elearning can be a point when parents, children, teachers and employees meet, though not traditional elearning, but a cutting edge one.

Speacial internet sites must be developed and promoted to new marketing strategies like SEO, PPC or banners in the web. This is the best way for finding this kind of opportunities; who search in the net like to study through the web, and specially at home when they want or when they want their children do.

Improvement in elearning, coaching, teaching and training

The elearning has to innovate. To follow the training company betting on elearning has to be worthwhile. It's very important to be competitive, but it's also important to give clients the content and services that online learning required to effectively make a contribution to the improvement and retraining of employees.

Ultimately I should refer to industry developments, where to go (though in truth they're already doing) the best and most productive practices to deliver quality online training and actually ready-made to the requirements of each group. Education is the key point.

New trends for learning and teaching at home

Some of the ideas that are shaping the trends of e-learning market are:

- Web 2.0. And social media like facebook, twitter or youtube.
- Mobile gadgets and particular content for talking and messaging
- Collaboration and collusion between tutors and students in the learning process.
- efficient transfer of know-how thru internet: video, audio and face-to-face
- Multiplication of content in different formats including corporate TV and other tools and devices for getting the best of elearning

Methodologies: constantly changing, always improving

All of these elements are changing teaching methodologies, which should incorporate the use of different resources and adjust to the new role they can play the students. During the past methodologies where based on the teacher information and his facility for communicating what he previously learnt. Today it's some different and teachers should be communicators.

The same thing applies to tutors/trainers who are undergoing a continued process of evolving their functions to suit the methodologies and resources available.

Also , those who develop and implement e-learning, pliability and an unblinkered attitude are essential, and engines of their daily work.

Elearning has a huge future that may help seriously home based students.
